SUNRISE AT BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, UTAH

COUPLE’S SESSION

During my time in Utah, I was the most excited to see the mountains. As we traveled up Big Cottonwood Canyon, the air got crisper; it felt like a beautiful fall day in the middle of summer. We decided to shoot at sunrise and let me tell you, a Utah sunrise does not disappoint; it was SO worth the 4:30 AM wake-up call. We found a beautiful grassy area with the most lush-greenery I have ever seen.

Amanda and I have been friends since freshman year of college. After graduating from college, Amanda decided to chase her dreams all the way to the country, Taiwan where she was a teacher for several years. While teaching, she met the love of her life, Jake from Chicago.

The two finished their teaching program, the couple didn’t want their time together to end. They traveled together for several months. When they moved back home to the states, Jake and Amanda knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They made a leap of faith and moved across the country and now reside in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Talk about an epic love story, am I right!?

Jake and Amanda are wonderful and thoughtful people. The entire session they giggled and were so flirty. Their love for one another is evident (I mean obviously, LOOK AT THESE PHOTOS). Thankfully I was able to witness it and capture it on camera.

I am so thankful for my trip to Utah and Jake + Amanda for their inspiring love story.

I cannot wait to go back and hangout with these two!
